Hey Malt & Scotland Friends,

we've finally booked all our Accomodation for next years trip. It's just one night left before travelling to Orkney Islands! Our Distillery Tours are not completeley booked yet. Below you can see our Schedule for the 14 day trip:

18.05.2013  Morning flight from Frankfurt/Germany to Aberdeen. Pick up the car and take the shortest route to Portree/Isle of Skye where we stay in Ben Tianavaig Guest House for three nights. We will just make a short trip to Talsiker Distillery where I've been 10 year ago. We would also hike up the Storr, not to the "Old Man of Storr". The Storr ist the mountain above.
21.05.2013 We take the morning Ferry from Uig/Isle of Skye to Tarbet/Isle of Harris. After arrival we drive up to the north (Isle of Lewis) and we'll stay in Stornoway in Thorlee Guesthouse. We will visit a few of the long, white beaches and relax on the island.
24.05.2013 We take the morning ferry from Stornoway to Ullapool in the northern part of the mainland. At the moment ist the plan that we'll stay for one night in Wick, where we maybe visit the "Old Pulteney" Distillery.
25.05.2013 At Gill's Bay we take the noon ferry to St. Margaret's Hope. We will drive to Kirkwall which is the capital of the Orkney Islands. Here we will stay in St. Ola Hotel for four nights and we'll visit Highland Park Distillery. Unfortunately Scapa Distillery ist not open for Visitors, we just make a few photos over there. The Distillery is run by three(!!!) guys.

While staying on the Islands we're trying to travel around and catch up some nice views...

29.05.2013  In the early morning we take the ferry back to the mainland where we'll drive quickly to Huntly/Dufftown to make the Glendronach Tour. In the late afternoon we'll drive back to Dufftown and we stay again for three nights in Tannochbrae B&B where we meet Alan again.
Next mornig we've book the Aberlour Founders Tour, where I can fill my own bottle of a 16yo Single Cask Sherry edition. In the afternoon we have an appointment at Macallan Distillery.
In the next morning we'll visit Balvenie Distillery, where I'll be invited to fill again my own bottle. Let's see what it is...
01.06.2013 Afternoon flight from Aberdeen back to good old Germany
